![]() ![]() Next, you should get the Mental Magnet Pin for 200 Psitanium. Later, you can get the Astral Wallet upgrade which lets you hold up to 5,000 Psitanium. The very first thing you should buy from the Otto-matic shop is the Psifold Wallet for 75 Psitanium, which will increase your Psitanium carrying capacity from 100 to 1,000. However, there are a few items, upgrades and Pins that you should definitely prioritize early on in the game if you want to maximize your Psitanium reserves. This also applies to the clusters found in Supply Chests. There is a pod floating in water on this level, which contains a green atom.As you progress through Psychonauts 2 and buy wallet upgrades, the amount of Psitanium you find, and the value of the clusters increases. The Acid drops shot by the Giant Mantises are the same acid drops shot by the Squooshies and the Slime Boss. The Venus Fly Traps are resembled by similar characters in Weekend Warior. This will cause the Fly Traps to burn up and be disabled. Destroying the Venus Fly Traps requires that you drink a vial of Growth Potion and shoot them with a Flamethrower Ray. ![]() If they are successful in doing this, you will lose a large amount of health. The Venus Fly Traps are stationary and reach out with their jaws in an attempt to pick you up, shake you, and hurl you to the ground. There aren't any small insects on Sulak, so these Venus Fly Traps are hungry for robots like yourself. One shot of a Flamethrower Ray is a good method for stopping the Dinosaurs from bothering you. Like all of the other enemies native to Sulak, Dinosaurs take so long to kill that it simply may not even be worth the effort. With two attacks, however, the Dinosaurs are still very ineffective, as they are extremely slow and clumsy. One involves breathing fire at you and the other attack involves attempting to reach down, pick you up, swing you, and throw you. So the dinosaurs didn't die out after all! Dinosaurs are big, blue, ridge-backed reptilian creatures that somehow have the ability to breathe fire. The acid is difficult to avoid, but is not very dangerous. Their method of attack is spitting a spray of green acid drops in your direction. The Mantids resemble their Earthly cousins, except in size. Otherwise, it will take forever if you attempt to kill a Giant Mantis with the Flamethrower Ray (it takes 12 shots). If you are determined to destroy these enemies, drink a vial of Growth Potion and punch them four times to kill them. However, the Flamethrower Ray is a good weapon for hurting them. Ray Guns do not affect these insectoid foes at all. These large creatures are very hard to defeat, and even though it is possible, doing so would use up a large portion of your ammo in many cases. Giant Mantids appear in many area of Planet Sulak, the Jungle level. When you try to leave the level, your ship will be stopped by a tractor beam. There are also huts containing powerups that can only be broken down when you're enlarged. There are growth potions, which are the only way to break down the humongous doors or to beat some of the plant creatures like the Venus fly traps. ![]() This level is a jungle and it very easy to get lost or hurt here. ![]()
